On Fox News Sunday, Republican writer George Will said that America should let all of the illegal immigrant juveniles from Central America remain and ensure they are allowed to "go to school and get a job."
"My view is that we have to say to these children, 'Welcome to America. You're going to go to school and get a job and become Americans,'" Will declared. "We have 3,141 counties in this country. That would be 20 per county. The idea that we can't assimilate these 8-year-old criminals with their teddy bears is preposterous."
Will was asked to respond to Republicans who, like a majority of Americans in multiple national polls, want to deport the illegal immigrant juveniles, 90% of whom are teenagers and not "8-year-old criminals with their teddy bears."
There have been nearly 60,000 illegal immigrant juveniles who have been apprehended since October of last year. Federal officials expect 150,000 more will be caught in the next fiscal year....

Brit Hume’s remarks during Chris Wallace’s show were just about the only timely and illuminating words spoken....the law is the law...the only way to help these ‘children’ (the ones 12 and under) is to change the word illegal to refugee....Don’t let Obama do that with an EO...watch him like a hawk....

Why don’t we treat them exactly as American kids would be treated if they were sent on a 2000 mile or more journey without their parents or guardians?
We would put the kids in foster care. We’d charge the parents with criminal negligence. We’d force them to spend thousands of dollars in legal fees if they ever wanted to see their kids again, much less regain custody. Eventually, the younger more adoptable kids would be placed with real families.

The man is NOT a Conservative, though I must admit he’s sometimes good at faking it.

He’s a somewhat older, non-gay George Stepanapolous with elbow patches and stupid glasses.
I stopped listening to George Will when he singled out Palin as the one whom he didn’t trust having their finger on the button in the White House. He was sure fine with Obama, McCain and Biden, but nope, not Palin! Told me everything I needed to know about Will.
My God, I hate these media elites like Will. Hate them with a burning passion. Hardly matters whether they proclaim to be lib or conservative. Doesn’t matter to them how many people out in the hinterlands get run down and killed by illegals, robbed by them, see their schools and towns and communities dragged down. We’re just worthless roadkill as far as these DC pundits go. Damn them all to hell!

I like George Will, but this statement has brought down my high regard of him significantly. He definitely needs one of ‘the blob’s’.. vacations. Perhaps he could ask to borrow AF1, take time off.

in Dayton Ohio since jan 2014, there were 200,000 jobs created, but the income tax revenue FELL $2.4m. What does that tell you about the quality of jobs currently?
How about we set up a huge immigration camp smack dab in the middle of Georgetown so these elitist pointy heads like Will and the other out of touch political elites get a taste of their own medicine.
