If I was ISIS, I would pull all the important equipment out of Tiqrit and let the Iraqi’s retake it, while I concentrate on securing oil fields. Then when they move a bunch more humvees, radios, etc back into the base I would take it again. But that’s just me.

They are going to have to hold this base and make it an in your face moment. ISIS will toss its might against it. They can attrit it Holding towns requires manpower.
