Graveyard of desecration: Grave robbers. Ghoulish tourists taking pictures on their mobiles....

Several human victims were still stuck in their seats. Others were mangled, mashed and hideously manipulated. I saw a leg, a battered trunk, a twisted hand reaching out from the grass and things more gruesome than I ever want to recall.

In a burned patch of grass littered with charred debris lay five crumpled corpses in a heap.

Nearby were boarding passes, a smashed computer, a school book, piles of clothes, a box of chocolates – although bizarrely, two bottles of duty-free whisky had survived.

One can only imagine the terror with which these 298 passengers plummeted to earth – should they have been unfortunate enough to have still been alive – after their passenger plane was seemingly struck by a powerful military weapon.

There are many circles of obscenity around this mass murder, almost certainly caused by a missile fired by crowing pro-Russian rebels armed, funded and trained by Moscow. But perhaps the ultimate insult is that even in death these poor people were denied dignity.

So their devastated and dishevelled bodies were left in the baking summer heat, exposed to the elements for three days while uniformed goons with guns stole from their suitcases and then stopped international observers trying to solve the mystery of their deaths.

Meanwhile, the pro-Russian rebels who most likely caused this terrible carnage treated an international crime scene with as much respect as a tourist site, allowing motley groups of paramilitaries and the growing media army to trample around some of the aircraft debris.

Perhaps the most sickening sight was a young male passenger whose body had been retrieved from a corn field and placed in a black body bag. But no one bothered to close it, so he lay there naked next to the road, his underpants around his legs.

As horrible as this story is with the thugs rifling through the baggage and all the desecration - the memory that will stay with me is the smiling and laughing asshole Obama as he deplaned AF1 after his Delaware hamburger feast and the smiling and laughing asshole Air Force officer who greeted him at the bottom of the stairs.

Those two are no better that the Russian goons at the crash site -

Putin’s sycophants would have us believe that Obama is hellbent on blaming Russia for this atrocity and the universal scorn being heaped upon Putin is some kind of Obama-led conspiracy.

The truth is that Obama couldn’t care less. He’s exactly what he appears to be, an ignorant imbecile.

Probably doesn’t even have enough pride to object to be called “boy” by His Arrogance.

This is a truly complex subject, and reasonable people can have widely divergent views on judging the behavior.

There are profound cultural issues, as well as foreign (in the widest sense) economic and social norms. I seriously doubt that "political correctness" is a driving force in the local society. Hell, the same can be said of most rural areas of Germany, France and Spain, from personal experience.

For example, it can be assumed that in the U.S., Canada and GB, everyone, pretty much everywhere, is aware that it is critical and essential to maintain an aircraft accident scene as untouched as possible to collect, analyze, evaluate and to use for future safety regulations the results of everything about an accident. That would include the precise location and condition of the smallest bit of debris and human body parts.

Clearly, in that area of Ukraine no such cultural awareness exists. There is no maliciousness in their ignorant behavior.

What is malicious, and firmly in the area of criminal behavior is the political behavior of the political and military leadership. They make Obama "transparency" look like kindergarten stuff.

at 33K feet the passengers had only moments of consciousness if they survived the blast and tearing apart of the aircraft

Putin is a first class a$$hole for not sending in forces to take charge of the crime scene and secure the dignity of those innocents against the barbarous vultures he considers countrymen

I read an article about the effect of the falling plane on the village below. Two days later, a woman was still waiting for authorities to take away the body that had fallen through her roof.

They want to run the world, but they can’t collect bodies in a timely manner?

While I agree completely that Vlad is beyond the pale... I cannot help consider how our fearless leader will surely find a fund raiser to take his mind off such a terrible tragedy.

It seems today's first class a$$holes... come in pairs--

Some here believe he is a first class Clymer for doing precisely what you say he didn't...

It’s not Putin’s country.

No it isn't, is it?

Official troops are one thing. Unofficial mercs and TDY officers are something else. Putin still needs to maintain the facade that there’s a popular uprising in eastern Ukraine. What’s happening is neither an uprising or popular.

Got that?

That fig leaf got ripped away when the goons he armed and supports murdered 298 people and then bragged about it. The blood of all those people is on Putins hands. Got that?

I never thought otherwise. If you’d like to put your money where your mouth is, I can connect you to a group that’s doing something about Putin’s thugs.
