did anyone think the “truce” would last 5 minutes?

Hamas can fire rockets all day, but Israel retaliates it will be reported as “Israel broke it’s truce hours after agreeing to Egyptian blah blah...”

The truce proposal had a 12 hour delay before it was to take effect. That period hasn’t passed yet.

What was that saying?

The ink wasn't dried before the treaty was broken.

The Egyptian truce is so that Hamas can re-arm in Gaza.

great move Bibi

with all it’s rhetoric Hamas will not abide or go along ,
then the condemnation falls upon them , not Israel .

Let Hamas now fire away , flail against the iron dome
IDF can feel free to turn Gaza into a free fire sone thereafter .

I really, really hope that the Israelis use this breach by Hamas and their supporters, the Palis, to demonstrate to the world that muslim terriorists are not to be trusted. AND, I look forward to the IDF devasting every Hamas holding in the Gaza and Pali Territory.

HAMAS must save face by getting in the last word...or missile that is. They always do this. Agree, fire and then cry bloody murder when Israel slams them. What a bunch of Pansy Arabs, always complaining and rioting. Can Israel bring in 2 B-52s for rent? The ONLY LANGUAGE these people understand and respect is Carpet Bombing.

Like the fake speech posted yesterday around the internet threatens, Israel should move the Gaza border, even if only a small amount. There’s got to be some corner of the border where the cost won’t be that much. Just make the point: in every war, you stupid f*s will lose land.

I have long thought that B-52’s should be made available to Israel , as a long range , heavy load delivery deterrent factor for the IAF . We have loads of them stacked up in the AZ desert storage facility . I am sure many could be recovered and restored and upgraded .

Israel does not have the money to finance and support a fighter wing of B-52s. Their battles must be swift and decisive...something they seem to have lost since 1982, due to world pressure. All they need to do is flatten Gaza from the border fence, some 1Km in, towards the sea. Then there will be quiet from HAMAS.

The current Egyptian regime hates HAMAS and has done considerable damage to their ability to wage war against both Israel and Egypt. Egypt is slamming them from the Sinai while Israel is slamming them from the Israeli side.

I believe you might mean ‘ bomber wing ‘ of B-52’s

The US should also offer Israel use and access to Diego Garcia Is. as a forward air base .
The idea of the B-52 is primarily deterrence . If any nation
( except North Vietnam) thinks it’s adversary has the capacity to carpet bomb them from 40,000 ft. they may think again about aggressive behaviors . Especially when accompanied by modern electronic warfare aspects and counter anti-aircraft tactical air cover .

Imagine a formation of 20+ BUFF’s with Stars of David on their wings and tails ....

One B-52 is enough to do the job over Gaza.
Actually, if the IDF wanted to end this conflict, they could do it in 15 minutes with the available F-15s and F-16s...problem is, 2,543 dead within that time frame. HAMAS is using them all as human shields like every proper Arab regime. If, say Israel bombed them anyway, then they'd stop listening to HAMAS but, alas, it's all politics - Israel is forbidden to win decisively.

Israel should channel it’s entire waste treatment effluent
southward and build vast foul water holding areas all along the Gaza border . A moat of filth . Hope that the prevailing winds would render Gaza intolerable & unlivable and they would all just go away .

There is a small but noisy Green movement in Israel. They would act as human shields to any waste heading towards Gaza...
