Palin has to know impeachment of Obama would be as successful as impeachment of Clinton was. Impeachment in the House, no conviction in the Senate. There has to be another reason for her to be speaking about this option now. She is high profile, and she gets buzz.

Agreed.

You do understand (I hope) that any bill of impeachment would not pass the Senate?

Impeachment isn't like instant coffee. It would be an exercise in futility that would ultimately VALIDATE Barky's administration.

We win the Senate, then we impeach.

I agree with you 100%.

JB wants us to stay calm, shelter in place and be patient.

Suing Obama is the lamest thing that Boehner can do. He knows that any lawsuit will drag out until after Obozo is out of office. Besides, Obummer would ignore the courts like he ignores the law.

Bohner has a vote and Sarah doesn’t. He gets to call the shots. She really should run for office, preferably Senate, to get a vote.

On Impeachment right now, Obama is saying “please don’t throw me in the briar patch.” I’m not inclined to give him what he wants.

I agree...

the worries about the midterm would be moot if they had impeached his ass years ago when he started this crap.

you cannot remove the president by winning the senate. You will not get 66 votes with a simp majority.

The house should do it’s duty, pass impeachment charges and let the senate be the senate. History will judges, not the Obama fan club.

How much more damage and corruption do we need to take any action?

He disagrees in part because he and his republican collegues have done their part to make impeachment not practical and success not possible.

Now let's leave the poor, emotionally unstable fellow alone with his tissues so he can get back to work on amnesty..."for the children".

There's a crisis on the border that only their amnesty plan can fix.

He won’t be in the senate to cast the vote.

Either he’s busted by the courts and a revote is held or he looses to the democrat.

But be around next session.. no.

with enough R’s in the senate to convict I’d bet they still could not get it done.

Well, impeachment AFTER we take over the Senate, so we can later try the bastard for treason and send him to Fort Leavenworth.

He should not get off scot-free after what he has done to this country. He is a tyrant. If he can’t be removed by impeachment - NO ONE can. and that is just another part of the Constitution we have destroyed.

As pointed out many times and don’t think for one minute this is not a topic of discussion behind closed doors........if articles of impeachment against Obama were carried out, the first fifteen minutes would be consumed by media explaining the procedure. Within the next hour, liberal pundits, race-baiters, the congressional black caucus would declare it nothing more than a “high tech lynching of the first black president that Republicans never accepted. That same evening riots would ensue all over the country and cities would begin to burn. After the first death, it would be declared that the republicans racial hatred of Obama finally killed people and the Republicans would be done. No, we are much better off allowing this man to make a fool of himself along with any democrats who continue to lie and cover for him.

NOBODY has a “duty” to impeach anyone. It is a choice and at this time it is a bad choice.

Each member of Congress has a SWORN DUTY to defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic. The only weapon at their disposal for a lawless President is the impeachment process. A failure to utilize that weapon against the enemies of the Constitution is a dereliction of DUTY.

At this point waiting until the politically expedient moment will result in the destruction of the Republic.

Either use your weapon or surrender the Republic to the enemies of the Constitution. That is the choice. Either fight or surrender.

Pick a side.

BS!
You suck at strategy.
If the Founders wanted the Courts to handle Impeachment, they would not have given the duty to Congress.

BY DEFINITION Congress is supposed to pay attention to popular will, and to POLITICS!

The only way out is impeachment. Is Palin too early? Probably, but the discussion has to start because Obama is going full Hugo Chavez as predicted.
