GOP hopes of corralling Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) during the 2014 primary season are officially dead. The defiant Republicans brutal criticism of Sen. Thad Cochrans (R-Miss.) reelection campaign on Tuesday and the involvement of a group he is technically a vice chairman of, the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) is just the latest example of the Tea Party hero refusing to play nice. That brazen approach has exacerbated already fragile relations with establishment Republicans, who believe the freshman senator is intentionally undercutting them for no reason other than furthering his own political career. Meanwhile, his conservative base is rejoicing that hes refusing to be cowed.

The problem with Cruz being on that committee is that it adds to the confusion. There are people donating to groups such as the NRSC and the "conservative" fund in Mississippi who are confusing it with the good guys (at least they try to get it right), the Senate Conservative Fund (not the exact name).
There should be no ambiguity about it. What Cochran's campaign did, enabled by anyone who supported them, cannot be forgiven. Control of the US Senate?....forget it. It's such a mess with mostly despicable members except for Cruz and the handful who agree with him, let the dems have it!
We'll be better off with not getting a majority in the US Senate, but having more Cruz'n Senators and less RINO backstabbers.

I’ve read something similar, except it was Haley’s son who was getting the Senate appointment.
We’ll see.
