I realize it is ONLY one Congressional District but I would like to think McAwful had a LOT to do with it also.
Remember Cantor got himself in ‘trouble’ when he was going along to get along with Boehner (Of course, survival is game/rule #1 in Politics as it is now played).
I would imagine it did nothing to endear his constituents with the ‘illegal immigrant’ position he was - if nothing else - apparently leaning towards.
The ‘Powers that be’ must have a ‘problem’ with Cuch. He didn’t even appear to be interested in the Senate Seat.
I just don’t think Gillespie is the person to beat Warner.
And some of the ‘older’ GOPe will (maybe) think they are voting for E Taylors X-Husband.....
