Should Bush be speaking up? I believe so. If he does it all the time, it really does open the door to past presidents simply neutering good presidents when they come along.
Look at what McCain did to Bush first term. It was just plain lunacy, and I’m not a big Bush fan by any means.
A president has to be given space. This one has had his space, and it is time for someone of stature to explain what they see as potential treason. Perhaps Bush is the guy to deliver that.
The problem once again, is that then the Democrats scream treason every time future good presidents go to the restroom.

Obama will be bashing future non-democratic president left and right, just like Jimmy Carter. “The Rules don’t apply to him”, they never do to self-absorbed leftist.
Bush saves nothing by not speaking out. Its like us not attacking north Vietnam because of fears of the north invading the south with all it has at its disposal.

Only our guys honor the “past presidents don’t criticize current presidents” rule. Carter is always mouthing off. Clinton too. And you can just imagine what Obama will be like when he’s out of office.
Believe me, they are. Just before the 2010 and 2012 elections, no DemonRat wanted Zero anywhere near their campaign. When Zero offered, it was always, "No, that's okay...ummm...go call Senator XYZ, he needs more help than I do." Even the lapdog media was reporting it quite regularly and it was getting quite awkward for Zero to keep getting rebuffed.
They know he's a screwhead, they're just keeping quiet. But every so often, one of the Congressional DemonRats slips at a townhall meeting and says, "I know O is screwing up in biblical proportions, do you think I'd do something if I could?!?!"
