Wonderful... it looks like that piece of paper has had zero effect on the Baltimorons.

And so what is the next step, genius? (Bible history suggests some other possibilities.)

Did they include pedophiles, bestiality and incest in the happy occasion?

Are there priests there?

Even if that wasn’t so, to have a single earthly hierarchy means a special danger when a prominent part of it goes looie. Evangelicals can split off or go to another congregation if they have to. Catholics are stuck with the organization if they want to stay Catholics.

I really do wish the headquarters in Rome would not beat around the bush here, but tell them off, PERSONALLY. Not hoping they will get the hint from a piece of paper that they are obviously ignoring. And it isn’t just Baltimore that is doing this.

Road apples. In this current minuet through the gates of Hell, the Protestants are well ahead of the Church.

If all Protestants are alike, then all Catholics are alike.

This is YOUR church. You need to own it like Catholics try to make all non-Catholics own anything any non-Catholic does.

Which lends itself to the question.....

Why do you celebrate *Homosexual Pride Month*?

I heard he’s interviewing new translators.

Unlike Muslims who do so with their Korans, Catholics don’t kick the Bible down people throats. These folks are not practicing Catholics. Whatever is happening in Baltimore is the work of an errant Parish Priest and he will and must be subject to Church discipline. We are one universal Church, one Truth, and one coherent belief and not some 35,000 screwball brands of Protestantism. The gates of Hell shall never prevail against it.

Well, Protestants now have married gay bishops!

And Catholics have unmarried gay bishops (and priests).

Your point it?

Dan, some of your stats will likely be needed here.

That’s a ridiculous charge for the poster personally and the Church as a whole.

You keep assuming that evangelical Christianity apes the Roman church. It doesn’t. If it did, then your silly remark about 35,000 screwball brands might make some vague sense.

The Catholic Catechism is clear on homosexual conduct. It is an intrinsically disordered evil.

Here’s what Catholic Catechism Paragraph 2357 states:

Homosexuality refers to relations between men or between women who experience an exclusive or predominant sexual attraction toward persons of the same sex. It has taken a great variety of forms through the centuries and in different cultures. Its psychological genesis remains largely unexplained. Basing itself on Sacred Scripture, which presents homosexual acts as acts of grave depravity, tradition has always declared that “homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered.” They are contrary to the natural law. They close the sexual act to the gift of life. They do not proceed from a genuine affective and sexual complementarity. Under no circumstances can they be approved.

Talk is cheap.

Get back to us when the RCC starts practicing what it preaches.

James 2:18 But someone will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.

So where is this faith that the RCC brags on? These are the works. It's proof of what kind of faith again?

They might stand to do some bible ramming, actually. Not down throats to be sure, but into faces.

Heck, the BIBLE suggests some other possibilities.

They can start with 1 Corinthians 6, which somehow ended up in the Bible they claim they wrote and has been totally ignored by the *Church* for the last 1,000+ years as if it never even existed.

So which is the mistake? It getting put in there, or it being ignored ever since then?

Since Catholics go by history a lot... that’s the basis I was talking about. If Peter and Paul did it, why can’t Francis do it.

Well, it seems there is a sort of paralysis there and it ain’t good. It ain’t good in evangelical Christendom and it ain’t good in Catholic Christendom.

They’ve got a system where the teaching is supposed to be pushed from Rome. Well, Rome really ought to get pushing.

The gates of Hell shall never prevail against it.

You guys quote that constantly, but you know what? The gates of hell ARE prevailing against that organization you call a church.

It's time you woke up and smelled the coffee. Quit deluding yourselves.

Satan and his minions have a death grip on the Catholic hierarchy.

THIS is the Catholic church because NOBODY in any position of power to do anything about it, like stop it, is lifting a finger to do just that.

They are letting it continue, and by their inaction are giving the tacit approval to it all.

The gates of hell ARE prevailing against what is called the *Catholic church*. Quit deluding yourself that it isn't happening.

Hey, it works for Catholics when they do it for non-Catholics.

Next time they use it on non-Catholics, you can stop by and chastise them for doing it, too.
