Doesn't say much for all the US money and training that went into reestablishing the Iraqi army. Contrast their performance with the Kurdish Peshmerga who stand and fight and are a very effective militia/army.
Most of them are just in the military to collect a pay check. Their primary loyalty is to their tribe or religious faction, not to their country.

Probably lack of caring. Of course, both ISIS and Iran will put that down to no faith in Allah.
No mention of the 200 American construction workers surrounded at the airport?....did they make it?

It’ll be a few months (or longer) before these recruits are properly trained. Not that the Iraqi army has a good training program in any case.....

There were many who were flown out last night before midnight, one article said 300 but that count could have been before the 200 were left there to be removed yet. The companies were sending planes to pick up their personnel...so how many left?
Iran was sending troops (10,000 last count I heard??) in to fight ISIS....another issue in and of itself. Iran being Shiite and the ISIS Sunni....maybe the Iraqi forces were Sunni that ran, and can’t religiously fight their religious counterparts??

Yes, we armed both sides by interfering with Libya, Syria, and then having talks with Iran...Iran is not our ally, yet now they are involved in this Iraq conflict...Why? Because they have a vested interest in what happens?
The Sunni’s are the ISIS (Obama letter of recommendation and college help came from a Sunni Prince hence his reluctance to get involved, imho). So if the Iranians are Shiite’s then they will help Iraq eradicate the ISIS for personal gain....everything costs something and this isn’t good.
How does that help us if Iran gets a stronghold in Iraq? It doesn’t. It only empowers another violent group of Shiite jhadists who want to kill Jews and Infidels (us).
There should be two parts to Iraq...a Sunni Province once the violent ISIS/ISIL are destroyed, and a Shiite Territory, where less violent encounters would happen.....sort of like a division of territories...and put the Shiites next to Iran.
That resolution was talked about during the Iraqi War...it didn’t happen, and now look at this mess. People are being displaced anyway now due to violent bloodshed instead of a more organized move back then. Which is better?

Provide the minimum aid to both sides to keep them fighting one another for the next century or until they run out of fighters.
The real question is: Who lost Iraq? It sure wasn't George W, Bush because he hasn't been POTUS since 20 January 2009. Gee, it must’ve happened on Barry's watch? Oh, no! And the MSM goes into full amnesia or blame Bush mode. Anything to avoid dealing with the real world failure of their Dear Leader and his band of incompotents.
