It is noteworthy that Scott only had one primary opponent while Graham had six.

That is fantastic! Almost as if there’s a TEAM that’s strategizing what is best for the country, and not just looking out for #1. Those who are serious about taking the country back need to have this mind among themselves. And so do the rest of us. We need to be a team that works together; God knows our enemies are.

You post with the excerpt: U.S. Sen. Tim Scott easily won the Republican primary in South Carolina on Tuesday, setting up a general election that could make him the states first elected black senator.
and then ask"Am I missing something?"
I'm scratching my head too - Isn't he ALREADY a Senator???? - ahhh - yes.

“Elected” is the key word. This is his first.
To: maine-iac7
The key word in the quote is "elected."
Yes, Scott is a sitting Senator representing South Carolina, but he was appointed to that post by the governor when Sen Jim DeMint resigned his seat. He wasn't elected. That won't happen until November.

Thrilled for Tim Scott! Praise God!

Do facts matter to the liberals, when they shoot off their mouths about their preconceived notions of things???If the facts don't fit their preconceptions or their agenda, progressives lie. Thus it has been, thus it will continue.
