A self-centered, untalented, thin-skinned, vindictive first lady with a political base could be put to good use by a clever strategist. She WON’T listen to the DNC, she WON’T listen to the Dem. pres candidate.

They point to a 2012 Public Polling Policy survey which showed Michelle Obama leading incumbent U.S. Senator Mark Kirk (R-IL) by a comfortable 51-40% margin.

This is Illinois. Literally any Democrat they name will beat Kirk by 11 points in a presidential election year.

Don't think she'll do it...means she would have to work for a change. Couldn't just take a free jet to Hawaii or NYC or LA for a gala. Might have to be in Washington and read something. The White House ("like living in a prison") isn't good enough for her...so what other DC address would make her happier? He will stay there but why should she? She might run into him, maybe be at the same dinner, have to fly on the same plane.

Nope. Too much work. Right now, she's one out of one--the One and Only First Lady. Why should she be one of 100 senators?
