WASHINGTON (CBSDC/AP) — White House aides are accusing soldiers who served with Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl are “swift boating” him following his release over the weekend after five years in captivity.
NBC News’ Chuck Todd reported Monday that the White House did not expect this sort of vitriolic backlash exchanging five high-level Taliban members held at Guantanamo Bay for Bergdahl, who left his Army post in 2009 in Afghanistan and was subsequently taken captive.
“They did not expect this backlash on Bergdahl himself,” Todd reported on NBC’s “Today.” I’ve had a few aides describe it to me as we didn’t know that they were going to ‘swift boat’ Bergdahl. And that’s a reference to that political fight back in 2004 over John Kerry’s military service.”

Of course, the truth is a fluid thing in the 0bama administration, and has a habit of changing after the fact.

If he were an agent, he would have received special training in the craft. I suspect the Army can account for his precise whereabouts every minute of every day from the day he joined, and so unless he had an extended leave of absence at some point, that bogus claim won't go anywhere.
I think this is the much more likely route to 0's justifications. First, we were told that B's poor health necessitated the swap, but that turns out not to be the case. I think in the coming days we're going to hear stories planted by the WH about how B. was a sensitive and idealistic young man driven mad by the cruelty of war. That's the story the left wants to hear, and that's the one they'll get.
Because of that extended “debriefing” anybody want to bet me that the Bergpunk is going to miss his first flight home? No doubt in my mind that the Kenyan staged the trip to Poland so that he could “be in the neighborhood” and conveniently buzz Landstuhl on his way back, giving Bergboy a ride in AF1 on the way home. As it looks now the Kenyan is more likely to pop a hatch and pee on Landstuhl on his way by.

Swift Boating - when people who served with you tell the truth so as to correct a false narrative.
That's an utter lie. This is a planned event with three major objectives:
1. Get the news to cycle, i.e. to drive the VA, IRS, and Benghazi out.
2. Benefit Hillary and other vulnerable Dems. It lets them distance themselves from Obama and improve their bona fides.
3. Harm America and Americans and help our enemies. It was a lose-win proposition, that no one who loved America would participate in or plan.
The critical element is that nothing will be done about this or anything else Obama's done. Our only hope is to take the Congress this fall and the Presidency in two years.
Please compile a list for me of every single advisor or aide inside the Obama administration who has EVER served in the USA military.....

As one of the civilians (VN/CAmbodia journalist, 1970), who worked on the book “Unfit for Command” about John F***king Kerry’s lies and deception re his Vietnam service, I can say that NO ONE HAS DISPROVED ONE THING WE WROTE IN THE BOOK, EITHER ABOUT HIS VIETNAM SERVICE/DISSERVICE OR HIS CONNECTIONS TO THE COMMUNISTS IN THE SO-CALLED ‘ANTI-VIETNAM MOVEMENT’.
In fact, Scott Swett, one of the book’s main technical editors, and Tim Ziegler, did a follow-up book, “To Set The Record Straight”, which included additional information about Kerry’s lies which we collectively found in Navy records at the Navy Historical Center in Washington, DC, after “Unfit for Command” had come out.
There are still a lot of questions about Kerry’s actions in terms of his illegal contacts with the PRG/VC/No. Vietnamese in Paris, as well as his role in the Communist Party influenced (re the founding ) Vietnam Veterans Against the War in Vietnam (VVAW) - i.e. the role of CPUSA’s Leroy Wolins at the initial founding meeting. Wolins looks like he was a Soviet asset, as he was A partner with another Soviet asset/CPUSA leader, David S. Canter, in a business that imported Soviet propaganda in Chicago.
They were supposed to register as agents of a foreign power but closed the business before they had to. Canter was a CPUSA labor leader as early as 1940, his father was a founding member of the CPUSA and had worked in Russia for Lenin/Stalin (where he lived with his family),and CANTER WAS THE MENTOR OF DAVID AXELROD (ALONG WITH ANOTHER MARXIST, DON ROSE, CHICAGO).
Canter was also involved in CPUSA labor unions and fronts in Chicago as well as being the kingmaker re the election of marxist Harold Washington as the mayor of Chicago (on election on which Axelrod reportedly worked).

Kerry is Obama’s Secretary of State.

We “Swiftboated” Kerry’s lies and helped sink his 2004 presidential campaign with the truth.
If Bergdahl is “Swiftboated” today, it will be with the “truth”, and as Jack Nicholson once said “You can’t stand the truth” (prescient comments about the Democrats and the mainstream media).
There IS NO STATUTE OF LIMITATION ON THE TRUTH, BE IT ABOUT KERRY, HILLARY, OBAMA OR BERGDAHL.
The idiots don’t realize that “swift boating” actually means revealing the truth or disproving lies!
