WASHINGTON (CBSDC/AP) — White House aides are accusing soldiers who served with Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl are “swift boating” him following his release over the weekend after five years in captivity.
NBC News’ Chuck Todd reported Monday that the White House did not expect this sort of vitriolic backlash exchanging five high-level Taliban members held at Guantanamo Bay for Bergdahl, who left his Army post in 2009 in Afghanistan and was subsequently taken captive.
“They did not expect this backlash on Bergdahl himself,” Todd reported on NBC’s “Today.” I’ve had a few aides describe it to me as we didn’t know that they were going to ‘swift boat’ Bergdahl. And that’s a reference to that political fight back in 2004 over John Kerry’s military service.”

What they didn’t think was that anybody was awake enough to notice the insane trade of 5 high value terrorists for 1 deserter. Now they are caught with their hands dirty and don’t know what to do.
Swift boating him? As in telling the truth?
Too little, too late. The Swift Boat defense presumes that it’s pretty much one person’s word against another’s. Not so in this case. Way too much hard evidence. Too many witnesses. Too much already published. Not happening.
Totally believable. We have an administration that does not begin to understand the military, totally clueless.
If a soldier, or any military personnel for that matter, is legitimately captured and taken prisoner, his fellow service members will work to high heavens to free him...
If that fellow has deserted, walked away from his responsibilities, their fellow sevice members would not care one way or another about what happens to that person.
These solders are NOT putting Bergdahl down for any other reason than they KNOW EXACTLY what he has done........
This just once again proves how isolated and arrogant this White House is.
We're probably 'Swift Boating' the father, too, who wears a Taliban beard, wants to release more from Gitmo, and greets the President with an Arabic praise to Allah.

The swift boat crews honorable service to their country in Vietnam pales in comparison to service they did for their country in2004 when they helped keep America form making a huge mistake by electing John Kerry President.
Now that John Kerry is Secretary of State, where he actually has responsibilities and job performance requirements (as opposed to being a Senator where his job consisted of showing up from time to time to vote how his staff tells him to), we are finding that John is a monumental moron who is almost totally incompetent

Not “swift boating”, “deep sixing” would/should be more appropriate.

While the Obama administration is proudly touting how it was able to free an American soldier who was captured by the Taliban, what no one picked is the fact that Obama SMILED as soon as he heard the most famous war cry of Islam, “bismillah al-rahman al-rahim,” Arabic for “in the name of Allah the most gracious, the most merciful.”
Watch Obama smile as soon as Bergdahl gives the most famous Muslim expression, the “Bismillah” or the “Basmallah”:
The “basmallah” is the Islamic expression for victory and only indicates that Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl’s father is a Muslim.
Think that the man is acting as “Muslim” for a stealth operation to rescue his son who is already in good hands in Germany? And what is with the long beard and trimmed mustache?
No this is not a bum, biker, or a Santa Clause fan. When one gives the basmallah, trims his mustache and elongates his beard, its the first sign of a convert to Islam, just as that an ex-Muslim putting on a cross and saying, “In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit,” is evidence enough of conversion to Christianity. But there is much more we obtained on this stealth jihadist.
But first, Obama’s smile says much. Obama has never declared the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and has no real testimony of converting to Christianity, as his pastor Jeremiah Wright stated:
I made it easy for him to come to an understanding of who Jesus Christ is and not feel that he was turning his back on his Islamic friends and his Islamic traditions and his understanding of Islam

We were first hit with news from Brietbart that the Taliban said that Robert Bowe Bergdahl’s son, Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, converted to Islam, changed his name to Abdullah, and even trained the Taliban in bomb making techniques.
And like father like son, the young Bergdahl, also trims his mustache and extends his beard, as these pictures show:

I am anxiously holding my bated breath (NOT REALLY) to see what happens when Bowe and Bob do their ‘victory lap’ around the country and his former comrades in arms are there to ‘observe’.
Wonder if he will be afforded SS protection as he will be in ‘fear of his life’ that either Muslims or REAL Americans will be wont to attack him?
Wouldn’t surprise me if WH or at least US Army has guides and handlers with him(them).
Of course as the ‘real facts’ come out wouldn’t be surprised to see some ‘groups’ using the ‘newly declared’ rules of assembly at public gatherings that were afforded ‘F Phelps and his Funeral disrupters’?????
