Democrats running in November’s midterm elections are being advised to avoid using the economic recovery as a selling point since their core constituency – including women, blacks and Hispanics – are not really feeling the uptick, according to The New York Times.

"As a start, Democrats should bury any mention of 'the recovery,'" said an April memo from Democratic polling firm Democracy Corps, which includes President Bill Clinton’s political strategists, James Carville and Stanley B. Greenberg.

The memo instead encouraged Democrats to zero in on a "populist message comparing the fortunes of the top 1 percent with the struggles of everyone else," according to the Times.

“We know your life still sucks. But vote for us and we’ll make sure that those wealthy bastards pay through the nose!”

What an uplifting message. /s

The act of "comparing the fortunes of the top 1 percent with the struggles of everyone else" would cause most people with a functioning brain to send Democrats to the political wilderness for the rest of the century.

Of course, thanks to publik ejukashun, there are very few people left with functioning brains.

I truly believe many of those not experiencing a lift really aren't that concerned. As long as the gov-mint keeps picking up the slack. Hey, they will not get rich or simply get ahead, but they will be satisfied to just get by.

In Florida, the push is on for legalizing medical marijuana in hopes that the LIV's will turn out in droves to vote for it and also vote for Charlie Crist.

BTW, Crist is FOR ObamaCare and supports it as being good for Florida.
