To Austin Freepers who gathered at the Texas Governors Mansion in 2000 to fight the left and the media over Bush vs. Gore.
One of the most memorable FReepers was TheSarce who was a camera bug and she took great pictures of our battle there.
If you remember it was 36 days after the election that AlGore refused to concede and every day there was a huge bank of TV cameras on the (left) side of the street and the Freepers on the governors mansion side of the street (protecting him from the left).
Prayers for her.
Prayers for her.
Prayers for her and her family.
Prayers here for Marci.
Thanks for letting us know. She was an outstanding Freeper.
RIP, Marci.
I have numerous photos if someone can tell me the best place to post them these days.
Prayers up, of course. BTT
Prayers up.
prayers and condolences to family and friends
TheSarce RIP
So sorry to read of our loss — thanks for the information; I’ll be keeping her family and friends in prayer at this difficult time.
Prayers offered for her family.
RIP
Sorry to here TheSarce has gone on the FReeper Hall of Fame.
I lost touch with Hill country Of Texas (HOT) FReepers since early 2000s. TheSarce was one of us early FReepers to FReep around the Texas Governor’s mansion after the 2000 election controversy.
I’ll have to dig up some photos, if I still have them. She was the one with the serious photography equipment. JimRob hopefully has a CD with the slideshow presentation that I put together for the 2002 FReeper convention in Las Vegas. It might have some photos of her in there. Maybe Lazamataz’ 2000 FReeper Inauguration Ball slideshow presentation may have some photos too.
A shame that FReepers aren’t actively FReeping these days (as FReepers.) I’m certain that many are as TEA party activists.
Unfortunately I lost almost all of the photos I took from the Austin FReeping events. Somewhere I have prints, but I won’t be able to get to those anytime soon. :( The FReeper slideshow presentation CDs are stored away too.
What great pictures of Marci, I don’t have any, she as so camera shy, that is why she wanted to be BEHIND the camera.
In post #47 the young man is our son Alan I’m wondering if that was the freep 5 of us went up against 1500 leftists in Austin. We had them so very out brained. I think it was an anti war protest.
In the #49 I am there next to Marci and I don’t remember going to the Bush Library especially in 2002 because Bush was president 2000-2008.
Or was the the elder Bush library? I don’t remember that either but I have a mind like a sieve I always say. LOL
Anyway thank you so much for the pictures.
She was very involved with the family she meet thru the Terry Shivo experience in Florida and their church. She wasn’t very religious because I remember the 1st time I heard her say, “on 911 she fell to her knees and Thanked GOD that AlGore wasn’t the president that day”
I have gotten ahold of her phone contacts and will be spending the afternoon on the phone. Wish me luck :(
Thank you for letting us know. I spoke with Marci on the phone a few times years ago. Sad to see her go.
Thank you for your most wonderful efforts on her behalf.
At Free Republic, we are truly family to and for each other.
May God bless you and all of us and may His mercy cover our sins and weaknesses.
Thank you, God, for this time we have been granted.
I have heard of the memorial wall but never seen it. I’m not a good surfer even on the FR site. However, JimRob did send me a link when he had added TheSarce and I wanted to put it here for others to see.

Of course she is the last one at this time but I enjoyed reading thru the wall. So many names I recognized.
So many famous names.
RIP
