Hillary Clinton’s former law partner was slated for a gilded position within the first Clinton administration. But a cluster of felonies landed Webb Hubbell in jail, and frozen out of the inner circle. Now he’s a novelist, and—after a near-death experience—friends with Bill again.

“I think Hillary would make a great president,” Webb Hubbell says. “I’d like to see her run. She’ll get elected. But that’s not my call. It’s not my business.”

Nor is it clear that Hillary Clinton will welcome Hubbell’s endorsement. After all, he’s an ex-con—and she has kept a prudent distance for the past two decades.

The last time I spoke with Hubbell—who is just publishing his first novel, a crime thriller titled When Men Betray —he was on the cusp of becoming one of the most important men in Washington.

Now I’m more confused than ever. I thought PIAPS was hooked up with Mrs. Ima Weiner, then this article reminded me that Mrs. Ima Clinton (and I’m not riding that thing even if it means a trip to the White House until she found out that everybody else was riding it ) took liberty with the Hubbell to complete the happy family vignette that BC and she needed to get themselves to the White House.

So which Weiner was it, or is it, or is there a middle path or was it all a Vast Right Wing Conspiracy?

Does anyone have a picture of Hubbell? As I remember, he is one hell of a homely man, and his issue, Chelsea, looks alot like him, and really not anything like Hill and definitely not like Bill.

Oh, those lying Clintons. They lie about and to each other and the public. What a despicable family. Folks aren't blind, but the Clinton's think they can talk folks out of what they do see. Or, in the case of Hubbell, the Clinton's say nothing...wonder what Chelsea thinks...has she opened her big mouth about who her daddy really is?
