What's really bizarre about this story is that most of Irwindale is gravel pits. I guess the folks of that fair city prefer the dust, dirt and grime from the gravel pits. Go figure.

I hope he stays in Irwindale. The smog and bits of lead from Irwindale Speedway add extra heat to the flavor. If he goes to, say, Kallispel, MT, the clean air would wreck Sriracha. Wreck it!

Memo to Irwindale and SCAQMD: Sriracha is not air pollution. Smog is air pollution.

It was in our local paper today. Somebody in the San Fernando Valley is trying to get Tran to move the plant there.

I wouldn’t be surprised if one’s eyes hurt near the plant when it is spewing odors. I think that’s a legitimate concern. However, the article in today’s Daily Breeze did not say what exactly the city council recommended for fixing the problem or how much such a fix would cost. (Not very diligent journalism, right?)

I'd say he should move to Gilroy but they already make the Real California Hot Sauce there.

I see some posts from people in other parts of California thinking that they should move to their communities or cities, I would like to remind you that Once the City of Irwindale “Officially” named them as a “Nuisance” with the blessing of the AQMD, that label will be Attached to them ANYWHERE IN THE STATE. They have literally NO CHOICE other than to relocate out of State. And next time I see Mr Tran I will encourage him to move, even though he has been a customer of mine for over 20 years. I have at least 50 or more customers that still live here in SoCal that Have CLOSED their Businesses in California and relocated them to other States.
