Writing in Facebook Apr. 15, VR lawmaker Lesya Orobets says:
50% of police officers in Luhansk sided with the separatists, 50% remained loyal to Ukraine. All weapons and ammunition had been handed out to the police. All roads in Luhansk oblast are blocked by pro-Ukrainian police checkpoints.
The crime rate has grown up by 300% as the police is busy defending precincts and checkpoints.
The unemployment also went up, leading to the higher crime rate.
In Donetsk, the local police have sided with the separatists.
Almost all road checkpoints are controlled by the separatists. There has been a full-fledged Russian invasion by Russia GRU groups numbering up to a battalion.
If the situation is not changed within a day, Ukraine border guards and army wont be able to oppose the Russian troops frontal attack as their communications have been cut.
Ukraine paratroopers have been moved from Dnipropetrovsk to Sloviansk, but their CO has been sitting on the fence for 36 hours already, something which reminds me of the Crimean developments.
There are isolated groups of people unwilling to serve Putin and offering armed resistance. There is a confirmation from 3 sources that a 10-strong group of separatists was killed at one of the road checkpoints.
A massive pro-Ukrainian rally is scheduled for Apr. 17 in Donetsk. Some predict a massacre, some believe it is a chance to save the situation, Lesya Orobets said.
“A massive pro-Ukrainian rally is scheduled for Apr. 17 in Donetsk. Some predict a massacre..”
I’m afraid it will be.
With a Globalist puppet junta in Kiev your fears are well founded
