And all this money has not produced any health service for anyone, not even a bandaid. The spending is just beginning, as are the rationing and the long waits. The bureaucracy will continue to grow and be entrenched so that it can’t be dislodged. It’s depressing.
there are too many of us, and a side-by-side/underground/blacknarket/alternative system is inevitable.
It won’t be the country we want but we can make it work for us. And we’ll have some good jokes.
