A Navy F-18 fighter pilot and former Top Gun instructor is publicly warning admirals that retention is beginning to suffer from the military’s relentless social conditioning programs.
Cmdr. Guy Snodgrass, until recently a Pentagon speech writer for the chief of naval operations, Adm. Jonathan Greenert, said sailors are becoming fed-up with the constant emphasis on social issues — an apparent reference to gays in the military, women in combat and ending sexual harassment.
“Sailors continue to cite the over-focus on social issues by senior leadership, above and beyond discussions on war fighting — a fact that demoralizes junior and mid-grade officers alike,” Cmdr. Snodgrass wrote this month on the U.S. Naval Institute website, an independent forum for active and retired sailors and Marines.
It is a remarkably frank assessment from an upwardly mobile fighter pilot who is due to become the executive officer of a F-18 unit in Japan.

I would like to add my affirmation of this.....my co-worker is an enlisted man who is an air crew member in the Navy Reserve.
Every month he is going to training on anti-rape awareness, sexual harassment awareness, diversity training, etc etc etc.
He has had just about enough of this stuff and is tired on the lack of mission readiness training.
No one joins the service to be brainwashed into being a metrosexual.
Pilots, especially fighter pilots, work hard to become pilots as flying is more than a skill or job to them. They endure almost anything to be a pilot and want airtime as being up in the air in a high performance plane is better than just about anything else for them.
For the B.S. and chickenshit level to be a reason for a military pilot to leave means it is a pile as high as Mt. Everest. This B.S. must be dialed way back soon or or national defense is degraded by the loss of good pilots.
I’ve never heard so many 04’s and 05’s talk openly badly about the POTUS than I hear nearly daily now.

Every single thoughtful person could see this coming a mile away when they began the process of putting women on ships, trying to get them into combat units, and decriminalizing open homosexuality.
The same people who pooh-poohed us when we said this would come to no good, now pooh-pooh us when we say the movement to normalize homosexuality will open the door for polygamy, marrying children or even animals or inanimate objects.
Never happen, they say.
People simply don’t realize that a superb fighting force is a group of Alpha males that are near animals. They are hard partying, outspoken, hard working killing machines. They usually don’t fit well into a civilized society(especially now). They want to practice what they have been trained to do, which is kill people and protect their country with extreme prejudice.
Today’s society somehow expects them to be sweet little “nice guys” in peacetime and at the flip of a switch, be warriors.
It ain’t gonna happen.
