This doesn’t pass the sniff test.

The wolfpacking hypothesis doesn’t either.

This smells like an accounting issue.

If one dude punches another in the nose, is this counted as a sexual assault?

Are effeminate guys and gay guys being physically assaulted? Sexually assaulted?

If one dude kicks another dude in the balls, is this a sexual assault?

Wolfpacking is not yet a major issue. It will be. The navy had a protracted struggle with this phenomenon when the steel navy came along with the requirement for much larger crews to operate vessels which were in effect a ‘system of systems’. It has been hushed up but for a number of years this fight went on and was finally largely won by reacting relentlessly about any complaint of queer conduct. John McCain may be a snook but his sudden and really agitated opposition to the end of DADT came from things he had heard from his father and grandfather. This problem is going to emerge again.

Your sniff tester is not working. I know of this happening 30+ years ago when homosexuals were not allowed in.

When I first checked onto my first ship a certain 1st Class attempted to take me under his wing. Did not take me long to figure out why. I was lucky to not have had to fight him. Only because he figured out that he was gonna be in for a helluva fight.

It happens more often than you think. I know of others with similar experiences. One who was not so lucky.

Hell, we had a guy wake up in his rack with another guy honking on his unit. He beat him half to death when he finally woke up.

I agree. I don’t doubt it happens, but for it to be a majority of the cases? Color me very skeptical.

This doesn’t pass the sniff test.

It's mostly bogus. Actual assaults was around 3000. What they did was send out a survey asking if anyone was sexually assaulted at anytime in their military career regardless of how long ago it was.

The Air Force has a blog on sexual assault but only two or three people are making comments on it because they are controlling the questions. I have complained about how they classify sexual assault. Some is just stupidity but because it involves a man and a woman it automatically is labeled sexual assault.

A guy touches a woman with an M16, sex assault. Another texts pics of a gal he slept with to his friends, sex assault. etc. One supervisor got drunk at a Christmas party and kissed all his female coworkers-sex assault. (this one I say applies but it's not rape as they make it out to be)

They have over 19000 Sexual Assault Counselors so they have to justify their positions.

Sexual assault is inappropriate statements made to another male, sexual battery would be action in a sexual manner against another male...the creep getting punched out for doing either is his just reward for his perversion.
