Kerry condemns Russian moves in Crimea while Putin stays defiant

Simferopol, Ukraine (CNN) -- U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry accused Russia of making up reasons for intervention in Ukraine, saying Tuesday that "not a single piece of credible evidence supports any one of these claims."

"Russia has talked about Russian-speaking citizens being under siege. They're not," he said while on a visit to Kiev.

He condemned what he called Russia's aggression in Crimea and urged the country to withdraw its troops.

"We would like to see this de-escalated. We're not looking for some major confrontation," he said, while still promising sanctions on Russia if it refuses to step back.

Kerry's comments came a few hours after Russian President Vladimir Putin defiantly defended his country's right to intervene in Ukraine.

Germany has no oil and no gas of its own. It HAS to import it. Russia sells, Germany buys. That’s business.

The US have bought Communist Venezuela oil for years. Must one say : “This is short sighted greed from the Americans”?

Would the US be buying Venezuelan oil if they invaded Panama and took over the canal? This shouldn’t be an issue in a civilized world. There are plenty of Russian owned assets in the EU/US to expropriate if Putin wants to play economic terrorist.

What else is for sale to Russia since “germany has no gas and oil”. The baltics? Poland? Those are NATO countries. Putin rolls tanks into them we have either a shooting war or the end of NATO. That’s where this is all headed. Don’t keep your head in the sand.

Not only is Putin taking bo’s lunch, he’s pantsing him at the school assembly and stealing his dope and kicking his butt on the walk home! Saddest thing about it is I have to respect and even admire Putin, I understand why he is doing it, he DOES have a certain level of justification, and am rather enjoying the whole spectacle, dangerous and degrading to the West as it is. Fact is, there is no leader on the world stage I hate and disrespect more than bo... ANYTHING to bring him down!!

And why does Russia remain defiant?

One word: History.

Especially its history with wannabe fascist dictators.

Donna Brazile on CNN just said this is BUSH’S FAULT!, and that Republicans should be ashamed of doing things that support Putin while Ukrainians are still in hospital, and need help.

THE FAKE OUTRAGE IS JUST DRIPPING....

News pundits are no longer informed nor are journalists or reporters. They don’t know the history, nor the players and assume much to create the buzzz they seek to engage, and maintain engagement to their networks.

Brazile is clearly supporting BO ....and does not understand the dynamics between Russia and Ukraine. ..nor this (US) administrations involvement in assisting the outing of Ukraines elected President...and why and how it all came about..Again!

“John Kerry accused Russia of making up reasons for intervention in Ukraine, saying Tuesday that “not a single piece of credible evidence supports any one of these claims.”

MOSCOW, March 3 (RAPSI) – Russian investigators have initiated a terrorism case against the leader of ultra-nationalist, far-right Ukrainian movement “Right Sector” Dmitry Yarosh, official Spokesman for the Investigative Committee Vladimir Markin told reporters Monday.

Earlier, Yarosh publicly appealed to North Caucasus militant commander Doku Umarov for help, in a statement made through Right Sector’s page on popular Russian social network VKontakte.

“The investigators believe that in his address, head of ultra-nationalist Ukrainian group Right Sector Dmitry Yarosh is making a public call to anti-Russian forces to engage in terrorist acts and extremism on Russian territory.”

On March 1, 2014, Dmytro Yarosh asked Dokka Umarov, a Chechen militant guerilla leader associated with Al-Qaeda, for support of Ukraine:

“Ukranian nation and nations of [Northern] Caucasus region have been united by mutual bloodshed. Many Ukranians supported a freedom fight of Chechen and other Caucausian nations with guns in their hands. Now is the time to support Ukraine!
As the leader of the “Right Sector”, I beg you to activate you fight. Russia is not as strong as it seems. You have a unique chance to win. Take it!”

Dmytro Yarosh is the leader of the right-wing Stepan Bandera Treezoob organization. During the EuroMaidan protests in the early 2014, Treezoob became the core of the newly founded Right Sector, a coalition of right-wing ultra-nationalist radicals.

Well, Putin is rigt and Obummer with his horse Kerry are wrong. THERE WERE MILITIA ORGANIZED NAZI GROUPS in Kiev. Kerry must be farsighted, needs glasses to see them.

What if the leftists commie held a bloody coup and nobody came?

Putin has already won with little violence or objection unless the newly installed government of Kiev takes the money (our tax dollars)that Kerry is offering as a "loan".

The people had better not take that money or the commies will have another play on the board that Putin will have to react to...

This is all about high stakes economic war and control of vital resources. The left would love for full blown war to break out...it's easier to spin to the masses.

President Manuel Zelaya of Hondouras was ousted and Obama et al supported him after he was ousted.

Now when Ukraine ousts the president, Obama supports the new government

They are talking form both sides of their mouths. Putin has taken the Obama Honduras legal position and is flailing him about the head and shoulders
