Oh, I wouldn’t worry. It looks like there may be another Cold War on the horizon. Only this time, it will be America that represents the forces of depravity and Godless evil.

If the Cold War was on, we wouldn't be spending a second worrying about what to do in the Ukraine.

Things can't be that bad throughout the rest of the world, with Kerry spending the majority of his time focused on Global Warming.

We were always on the edge of instant global annihilation, not to mention the huge combat losses in wars and military operations, even when we weren’t fighting, we were losing thousands of men a year in the military.

Perhaps he can re-imprison many nations of millions of people under the Soviet Empire, to simplify things.

Its a lousy title.

There a number of words modern journalism is derilect in abandoning the use of, the are the words “some”, and the words that express a number.

In this case it is a matter of saying, as they did:

“Top Republicans Call for Return to Cold War”,

instead of the more honest, less hyberpolic:

“Two Republicans Call for Return to Cold War”.

One might have thought that McConnel, Boehner, their lieutenants and the likes of McGain, Grassley and others led the “call”, and for many of the masses that only read headlines and not the details, many will be given that impression. Many Dims will now go ahead and use that assumed truth and will be claiming “the GOP” wants to return to the cold war.

The journalistic deceit is no different than their inability to use the phrase “Some scientists” when commenting on a scientific matter, selling to the masses as they always do that any use of “Scientists” means “science” and there’s only one opinion in science.

Well, I think there are many opinions in the GOP about any “return to the cold war”. Whether I agree with the “cold warrriors” or not 2 Repiblicans in congress does not a party or “the top” of it make.

I miss the days when America’s enemies were communists - in particular communists who did not live in our White House.

They’d have been better off saying, “Nature hates a vacuum. When the US steps out, Iran, North Korea, Venezuela, Cuba, China, Russia, and others step in.”

Exactly WHAT freedom do they think we're defending?

A cold war means we're defending something... I have to assume these blowhards feel the freedom to live well in Washington DC - high on the hog - and on the taxpayers dime - is worth fighting for... (not for their sons and daughters - but for ours...)

If it's ours - and they call for help from someplace like Benghazi - the elites let then die. That's worth fighting for? For that we should have a cold war?

Maybe freedom from thugs like those in the IRS who target conservatives? Too late for that...

Free from left-wing politicians who define ‘terrorists’ as 'traditional Americans' who believes in God?

Or freedom from illegals voting and diluting my vote?

Nope. They don't care about my freedoms. And I don't care about theirs.

Sorry, I'm not quite sure what these people are talking about... Maybe these politicians should defend themselves... and quit asking the American people to do it for them. Or they should start acting like custodians of the Constitution and protectors of the people of the United States.
