Delusional idiot.
Sure that’s a good basis on which to make a decision. /s
This may be a good thing.
Wouldn’t it be more satisfying if this guy gets primaried instead of allowed to simply retire?
Yeah, let’s run to spite ‘em all. That’s representation...
Primary the RINO
As a Democrat?
What makes him think the GOP wants him to run after censuring him?
Now that's the way to "retire"!! ..senile old goat!
Everything is about his ego.
So this is a predictable response.
“Wouldnt it be more satisfying if this guy gets primaried instead of allowed to simply retire?”
It takes an average of $10 million to successfully run for a Senate office. It would be better if the guy running didn’t have to raise and additional $10 million to defeat McCain. McCain can probably come up with $20 million out of his own funds. If he spent enough, Satan could win a seat.
Yeah, right! We all know he was going to run anyway, if only to keep a conservative (or even a republican!) from taking his seat.
You’re exactly right. When JD Hayworth ran against him in the primary it was reported that McCain spent $23 million of his (wife’s) money defeating him. My question is why? A senate seat worth that much of a person’s personal wealth?
One thing is for sure. McCain won’t do any ‘running’. Even if he wants to.
“Yeah, lets run to spite em all.”
In my life, I have done “xyz” plenty of times just to spite people.
“A senate seat worth that much of a persons personal wealth?”
Ego.

I couldn’t find his name on the list above of Senators who died in office, but my recollection was that Strom Thurmond was in his 90’s and obviously not long for this world. There were numerous photos of him in the Senate, asleep with drool coming out of his mouth. The governorship had just changed from R to D in his state and the party begged him to resign so they could appoint an R. He refused, and died just after the D took charge. They, of course, appointed a D.
So, ego.
He may even run for president...again and again and again...
Clear example of another DC megalomaniac. At the first sign or even a hint of that malady should disqualify anyone from public office and or cause a response from the people to immediately remove the person from public office. That would pretty much clean the house in DC.
What are the odd in Vegas that McCain “Jefford jumps” if the Senate ends up 50-50 in November?
