Any non-temporary increases are more because of currency devaluation due to massive money-printing, in my estimation.

Amen!

This will be the ONLY way America can ‘pay’ for the bills it has run up.

Do NOT base your future worth on numbers printed on paper!!

ANY paper...

If anyone lives within driving distance of a coal mine it can be had for 100 dollars a ton, or less. That's about 140 gallons of propane/or 72 cents per gallon equivalent.

We sold lump and stoker coal from our wash plant when I was mine manager for $50/ton. Usually, the buyer drove a pickup and we took extra care with our Cat 980.
Then one winter, we had a buyer arrive in a station wagon. I helped him hand load lump coal.

Just heard that its over $5 a gallon right now here in WI. Paid about $2.30 just a few months ago.

I’d like to know if this shortage was intentionally manufactured or what. This is just the kind of thing that works to drive people from the rural areas to the urban ones... Agenda 21.

Doesn’t propane slow down turning to gas at 0 or colder?

Don't know about that, but my LP is working fine and its -20F here in Wisconsin.

I loved that lump coal. An old time dealer used carry 1 lb nuggets here, but he finally retired. So much less work than burning wood, and that’s if you can find wood that will burn at this time of year. With the price of propane now you could pay for a coal stove in week or two!

Wood stoves need to be ruggedly built to take lump coal. A couple of big chunks will deform the burning grate.

We had an underfeed stoker furnace in our wash plant. The burner had been liberated from a “county home,” that had been closed a few years earlier. It was built for burning coal on upside down grate bars called twiers.

Great, too bad we never developed an energy policy over the past 30 years.

that’s who I’m with, I think the fill 250 gallons
was around 450 or so. Not too bad when you buy in bulk.
I keep the small tanks 30gal to run my shop heater
and portable forge.
