Dear FRiends,
We need your help to keep the lights on.
FR is funded solely by contributions made by liberty loving people who enjoy and use it.
We are beholden to no political party.
No advertisers, no outsiders, no sugar daddies, no corporate string pullers.
We are self-funded, fiercely independent and enjoy our freedom to speak plainly in the support of liberty.
But we cannot exist without you.
If you have not yet made your donation, today would be an excellent day to do so.
Every donation counts no matter how big or small. If you can donate $5, $10, $20, $100 or more, it would be greatly appreciated.
Your loyal support makes Free Republic possible and your continuing participation makes FR the number one, independent, pro-life, pro-family, pro-small government, pro-defense, grassroots conservative forum on the Net!!
And we're going to need FR now more than ever to combat the current crop of Marxists and progressives who have infested our government and public institutions and who are dead set on destroying the final remnants of our cherished constitution and our precious God-given liberty!!

Make it a monthly if you can. We have some very generous FReeper sponsors kicking in an extra ten bucks for every new monthly signed up. We already have 12 new monthly donors this quarter.
Or send in a hundred dollars or more per quarter and join I_be_tc's growing list of 300 Club patriots. I_be_tc sends in $100 per quarter and challenges 300 others to do the same. And we have received 53 donations of $100 or more so far this quarter. If we could get 300 FReepers to send in $100 per quarter, these FReepathons would complete much faster.
Help us keep freedom alive!!
Thank you all very much!!
God bless.
Well, cold is cold and snow is snow and we have a SNOW white yard.
I can barely wait to hear from Cajun! LOL.
I wonder whether musicman got snow?
DrO’s newspapers are outside all covered up in snow. He said it was too cold to bother with last night’s local newspaper and now this morning’s Clarion Ledger and last night’s local newspaper are both hidden under a layer of snow...lol.
BTW this is our SATURDAY FORECAST!!!!!

38°

Brrrrrr! Stay safe and warm, First Darling.
We have about 6-8” of accumulation everywhere that it isn’t plowed.
I’m waiting to hear from The Cajun as well.
Musicman, dear! Did you get any snow?
Feels Like: 14°
N 6 mph
Our Saturday will be 37°/20° and raining/snowing.
It’s 12 degrees here. All the snow has frozen.
There’s nothing like the South for dramatic changes in weather.
When we first moved here, we kept hearing folks say, “if you don’t like the weather, wait 10 minutes.”
Now we completely understand.
I bundle up! A long-sleeved t-shirt with a long-sleeved heavy pullover, a pair of cotton pants and a pair of sweat pants, and cover it all with a nice poncho that I got for my birthday, and I’m almost too warm. But not quite. ;-)
I do however look like a giant, red snowball with black legs.
The heater is struggling a bit to keep the temperature at 60° in the house, but I’m bundled up!
Snow flakes falling now.
Wow!
Good morning, Trisham! That looks very inviting and lovely. Good thing I just ate breakfast!
Amazing!
Good morning, TOL! Thanks!
LOLOL. We’re almost wearing the same outfit!
DrO has cranked up the heat today! I’m about to shed some of this clothing. I have no idea what got into him. Maybe looking out the window at his poor newspapers...LOL.
I think I’ll break down and go get them for him. BRB.
Make a snowman!! J/K...
We have sun here, and it was supposed to be sunny all day today, however it’s starting to cloud up, and our “solar heater” may be foiled.
The south-facing windows will keep the house warm on the coldest day if we have sunlight. It doesn’t look too good at this point.
At least the frost on the inside of the windows has evaporated.
You’re a sweetheart.
I’ve done my “Christian Duty” for the day.
He has his newspapers.
Sure is cold but the snow is like powder!
Soft and fluffy.
You’re so good at finding things like that. It must be a gift that you have. ;-)
