There is. This wasn't the first time the shooter had badgered someone for texting in a theater. He was looking for a confrontation and ended up murdering someone. He deserves life. At 71 any sentence of 20 years or more would essentially be a life sentence. And that's a good thing.
Maybe some other citizens will step forward to tell tales of how the shooting victim hassled them over something or another.
