I have to agree; we never had to deal with this in the past and now all of a sudden we’re getting several shootings a year.
I can only imagine that a part of this is bullying, which is getting vicious, but students these days also lack an outlet for their anger and frustration, so it boils over.
Well not quite never.
There was the U/Texas 1966 killing of 16 (or 17 if you include the perp, as is now usually done)
Also, the largest US school death toll was in Clinton County Michigan in the 1920's when 38 students were killed in an elementary school bombing by a distraught nut case.
