My question from the beginning
She was holding on to his hand
WHERE WAS HIS HAND?
Under water?
Around her neck? Life vest?
Holding the rip cord?
In one article it said he was holding her and she let go. HMMMM?
What was their relationship?
I’d read (probably here on FR) that he was holding her hand because she was scared, anxious, etc. and then she let go. Maybe he LET her go. If HE was holding HER hand how did SHE let go? And even if she let go of his hand why wouldn’t he try to swim back to her? How far and quickly could she have drifted away? Too many questions.
Aren’t we supposed to be our brother’s keeper?
A good Samaritan?
The person that’s holding your hand let’s go... AND??? Then what? You notice a seagull is flying over head? You notice the sky is blue? You notice that you are getting an itch under your nostrils? Do you notice A-N-Y-T-H-I-N-G else? ANYTHING!!!
The more I think about it, at the very least- the word negligence keeps popping up.
Occam’s razor. Sometimes the most obvious and simplest answer IS the answer.
