Although the left has been tacitly admitting the Republican arguments against ObamaCare were correct, they maintain the posture that it will all work out for the good of everyone and the only reason Republicans opposed it was based on racism and 'hating the poor'. Effectively, the same old BS.

That the ACA was always intended to be the gateway for 'single payer' is becoming too obvious to deny so bolder leftists are no longer denying it. They believe (or pretend to believe) that single payer is the only 'fair' way to dole out health insurance to the masses and make it 'equal', the new leftist buzzword.

That ObamaCare is and always has been all about control is only clear to those who have been paying attention. The 'general public' are just angry at losing their perfectly good health insurance, having to pay more for less coverage (higher deductibles) and that Obama, whom they trusted, lied to them all along. It's an opening for Republicans but only if they are willing to speak the truth about ObamaCare and jettison the whole thing, not attempting to 'fix' what is an insult to free people. We'll see.

The latest such confession comes from The New Republic’s Noam Scheiber, who bluntly conceded yesterday that “Obamacare actually paves the way toward single payer.”

Where you been Noam? FReepers on here, myself included, have been screaming nobamacare -> single payer for five years at least.

You know a Democrat is lying when they say on one hand Government has to run Healthcare because you can’t trust the private sector to give you a “fair shake” while on the other hand they insist That public school Teachers and all other government employees must be unionized to protect them from abuses.

The real trick is getting a liberal to acknowledge that Government can be just as abusive as any other organization of men. “Profit motive” or not.

The only difference is we the individual victim have no impartial appeal or alternative when Government is the other party. Government either rewrites the contract with impunity as its own hand pick courts rarely bite the hand that feed them, or Government simply cuts back and there is no alternative to go to.

When Government decides that it doesn’t want to offer a particular service in a particular industry it has hijacked that service won’t exist for anyone that needs it or wants to provide it. This is the power of monopoly combined with the tyrannical force of the State, a Power of tyranny few here in the USA have yet to truly experienced.

The only mitigating factor in generations when those who depended upon that which has been destroy die off and the service itself is all but forgotten people won’t remember what they have lost.

Perhaps the left would call that ignorant a tyranny in itself if they weren’t also in bed with the State that imposed it.

There’s going to be nothing at all quiet about obamacare, as The REAL obamacare disaster has now started where hundreds, thousands and maybe even tens of thousands of folks start to be killed by obamacare towards the end of March because they no longer have medical insurance or medical care from their doctors because obamacare cancelled their insurance and they were unable to obtain comparable insurance or medical care.

I’m talking about chronically ill people who are being kept alive by highly specialized treatments by highly specialized doctors in highly specialized treatment centers. You don’t treat cancer, hemophilia, kidney failure, cystic fibrosis, psoriatic arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, heart disease, childhood genetic diseases, and thousands of other such diseases in the ER.

Those are the people who will truly suffer and die because their existing insurance has been cancelled and they are unable to sign up for new insurance, or unable to afford new insurance, or are offered only policies that no longer include their existing specialized care givers.

Obama and the Democrats will soon have blood on their hands as they persist in trying to implement their totally unworkable legislation, even when it starts to kill innocent children. We need to show the nation that blood so we can end this horror.
