This is not pro football, this is for most of them just kids trying to get a hard fought education.

College football is the farm system for professional football. The players should get paid. And not with a worthless piece of paper.

Opens too many cans of worms.. Only a select few colleges actually profit from sports. Can colleges competitively bid on players? Should you pay other sports players as well, if not, why not? Nope, hope it never happens.

first of all, a college diploma is not, I repeat, NOT, a “worthless piece of paper”. that may be the dumbest thing that I have ever read on the Internet. EVER.

what do you think you would be accomplishing by paying student athletes to play football? do you have a reason? What problem are you fixing?

Perhaps you are onto something. Perhaps it is time for the NFL to just make it’s own minors leagues.
