If Imus actually said that, I’ll have to take back some of the things I said about him.

Yeah, he’d have been at full power and that cliff would have limited his turning options. Full load, too, so the engine would have been working the hardest it had all day.

And those who make note of such anomalous occurrences are subsequently called silly names by those such as Drew68.

Going into the main Molokai airport one time, there was an anxious passenger in the right seat, and the pilot kept eyeing him. On approach, the pilot suddenly said, “oh no”. The passenger said, “what, what?”. The pilot said, “the battery on my pacemaker just quit, you land us.”
After a moment of sheer panic from the passenger, he said, “just kidding man, I’m 28... Jeeze, chill”.
Those small interisland airlines are pretty informal. Last time I was over, in Honolulu they grouped passengers by destination, and the pilots just took whoever was next in line to wherever it was they were going.

No need to get suspicious. Hussein was half a planet away attending a public event.

"She was alive after the crash, but very excited. Her assistant was holding her hand and trying to calm her down. She then became unresponsive. Id guess heart."With the help of an overdose of Potassium via syringe? Undetectable. Instant heart arrythmia leading to a cardiac arrest. Just speculating. On the other hand, if I was in a plane crash, I'd probably have a heart attack, too.
