the article ends up pleading “let’s not play their [dems] game.”
Of course, the subtext of articles like this is that “unity” is achieved by stopping all challenges to R leadership, making sure the oatmealish RINO’s are nominated and then voting for them in huge numbers.
Of course, the alternative subtext is that leadership should start listening to Republicans, that liberty/conservatives should be nominated, and all the moderate R’s should vote for them in huge numbers.
If you are not a GOPe apologist/sycophant then you have my apology. If support any GOPe candidate then you have my derision. Please be clear about where you stand.

If you're talking about re-electing incumbent Senators and Reps solely because they've got an R velcroed to their sleeve, then you're wasting your attention and effort, merely to gain a hollow majority.
We're in a fight to save this country. Collaborators and quislings will sell us out just as fast as our avowed enemies. Probably even faster.
Ted Cruz has set the bar. If a candidate (incumbent or not) doesn't measure up to that standard, they'll get no vote, and no attention from me.
AMEN!
Not No! He77 No.
She was a fruit cake on radio and on tv.
