The Democrats didn’t want him to run, so he went to the county Republicans and got their endorsement and they called him a “rising star” for the party. He beat the incumbent Mayor (as a Republican) and then switched back to the Democrats (after having used them).
Geez! Are Republicans doormats at every level of government, in every city of every state?
It’s looking that way. And yet they will be hawks when they can make a killing off of defense contracts.
