you give him too much credit, I would say he is not taking BB’s phone calls because when he is on the back 9 (seemingly every day), he orders all cell phones OFF !!!

Does anyone understand that if an obviously corrupt pResident is not impeached then no future pResident can ever be impeached regardless of his corruption, treason, or disregard for his Constituional oath? It will set an iron-clad precedent.

The difference is that the weeks of Katrina coverage were full of propaganda and full-on lies in order to take Bush down.
Obama's takedown was caused all by himself.

I was far far away in Slovakia, but I saw it on TV.
IIRC, it was not the Hurricane so much as it was the river Levee failure that caused the severe damage.
That was never considered a potential problem prior to Katrina. I guess since they were built by the US government, it had to be Bush’s fault.
I think they also said that the levees were poorly built and could have failed at any time, with or without a hurricane.

That’s a bald faced lie. There was nothing small about that dress.
The levee was in New Orleans, over an hour away from us. Our problem was the actual storm and the surge.
Interestingly, while the networks worked overtime to blame Bush for Katrina and to promote the "doesn't care about black people" meme, the blacks actually affected didn't buy it.
I recall network reporters interviewing New Orleans refugees in the Houston shelters trying to plant the story with their subjects. But the New Orleans blacks denied the claim outright. They knew full well who was to blame for their plight: Mayor Ray Nagin and Gov. Kathleen Blank-o.

We should look for the recordings of barry and moochelle obozo, holder, belagosi and other friends of the administration laughing and pointing at the TV when it hit, while passing around popcorn and beer.

that was another one of those many times where the informed people like FReepers watched reality as it happened live, and then had our jaws drop when we saw the fantasy that the MSM created for the LIVs on the evening news.
I quit watching FOX because of Mascara Man and Whorealdos coverage of Katrina.

If you were in Biloxi the MSM ignored you anyway, along with the rest of the Mississippi coast. As far as they were concerned, only New Orleans was newsworthy. And then after the hurricane was over I think the MSM was pissed off because the citizens of Mississippi didn’t whine and cry but just set about rebuilding their homes. You all didn’t act like victims although the damage was far worse along the Gulf coast. How dare you be self-sufficient?

Yes, I know Biloxi quite well, all the way back to my very early childhood, when I saw my first slot machine. My father held me so I could drop in a dime and pull the handle. Out came two dimes !! WOW, I thought I was in heaven !
I did, however, shortly learn that what God gives, God can take away :(
My point about New Orleans is that it is not on the coast, but somewhat inland. I believe it was downgraded (cat 3) before it hit New Orleans, and might not have been such a big deal if not for the levee failure.

Bush had expected the residents to know how to get out of the way without his getting in the middle of it like the jersey and in sandy
But inner city no’ers and their idiot mayor couldn’t even figure out to reroute two of three incoming lanes of highway nor to get some transportation for the poor people in the path. It was a shocking display of incompetence. And they blamed bush who could’ve shown up a day or two before he did
And republicans are missing it if they don’t think the media will do what they can to blame republicans and or the insurance companies for obamacare
