I agree, but the people who fought for this country and getting screwed (white America) represents 65 percent of the population. If they stop dividing themselves into two camps and voted as one group 70+ percent one way, we would not be having this conversation. If white America learned how to pick their own cotton, and pick their own lettuce, we would not be dealing with angry and costly minorities.

I couldn't agree more. If I lived in that era, I would have been outspoken against slavery. Not because it's obviously inhumane to own another human, but the long-term consequences of bringing Africans here and assimilating.

I read where Lincoln proposed to give the British money to take the slaves and let them resettle in a Central American nation.

New Yorkers moving to New Jersey in the late 70’s, 80’s and 90’s is a big reason we are so screwed up today.

They (not all of them but alot of them) came to Bergen, Union, Middlesex, Somerset and Monmouth counties and politically changed what were fairly conservative places to live, into “lite” versions of the liberal cr*phole they ran away from.
