A sexually suggestive advertising campaign in support of Colorado's health insurance exchange is taking heat, after the latest ad featured a woman boasting about her birth control while wondering how to get her man "between the covers."
The ad, by ProgressNow Colorado and the Colorado Consumer Health Initiative, is being hammered as demeaning to women. It follows a prior ad from the same campaign featuring young men doing keg stands, under the banner "Got Insurance?"

Initially, I thought it was an ad for a new Twilight movie. It’s not degrading to women, it’s degrading to everyone that sees it, or helped produce it. The sad thing is that it probably tested well with focus groups of single women.
These ads are part of the Democrats’ ongoing war on women.

women want to be independent and make choices but not want to be personally responsible for the outcomes of those choices.
in a nutshell they want their rights but don’t want any of the associated responsibilities. they want only to blame others when a choice they make goes sour for them.
and that is the problem we have with over half the country today, because this is liberal thinking that’s destroying the country across many different issues.

Really; if it reduces all men to the status of men in the permanent welfare culture I’d think it is more degrading to them. My sons are being taught to aim higher than the skank in the picture and any of her ilk; their mother is imported, and I hope their brides will be as well (one already likes a traditional Spanish/Dominican girl).

any wonder the guys in the ads look like poorly dressed porn stars? sheesh. the gals look like they can’t wait to give it away.
so the solution is let all of us pay for their debauchery and it’s long term consequences. riiiiiight.
