That's what I've been saying for quite awhile. When it's SHTF time, those who GIVE THE ORDERS must be primary targets. Lots of "accidents" or disappearances. Work DOWN the chain-of-command instead of Up it.
Good point. Mine was actually more focused on the civilian populace as a whole rather than leadership, but I suppose reality lumps them together anyway, and I like the top down approach. When the SHTF no one should feel safe on either side of the battle. One more reason for winning. Winning big and winning fast.
