I remember when the libtards raised a fuss about Florida State using the name Seminoles. The real Seminoles told the libtards to lighten up, besides, many of them were FSU fans.
My understanding is that the Seminole tribe doesn’t have a problem with Florida State using their name for two reasons. First, the school treats them and their culture with respect. For example, they got the tribe’s permission to do the bit where the mascot rides around the field with the spear at the beginning of each game. Second, the team wins more often than it loses!
