HBO’s Bill Maher suggested during his show Friday that President Obama is leading as a “centrist” out of fear of being assassinated like John F. Kennedy.
The “Real Time” host said that leaders such as JFK always “get cut out of the picture, violently or otherwise, and maybe that is why Barack Obama is a little more of the centrist than we want him to be.”
MSNBC host Chris Matthews, appearing as a guest on the show, said he was surprised by the “extraordinary statement.”
“I’m amazed. I’m impressed you think that,” Mr. Matthews said.
Mr. Maher explained that assassination is probably something that President Obama thinks about at night.
“He has to change his policies for that reason?” Mr. Matthews asked.
“I don’t think that is an insult to say to somebody that he may modulate his policies because he is afraid of all the hate that he sees,” Mr. Maher replied.

Obama is HARDLY “centrist.”
His only claim to being a centrist is perhaps because like Hillery Clinton, he stands when he pishes and tries, mind you, really tries to hit the center of the toilet bowl.
Obama is the most divisive of any president in the history of the USA. He cannot unify, and campaigns continuously strictly for the purpose of “divide and conquer.” Obama does not govern but rather conducts a demographic wwarfare on the American people, for whom he has little or no respect.
As to Obama being assassinated? The nation would be very fortunate if that were to occur. It would save the nation from Utopian fascism, or if you prefer a milder term, save the nation from Coercive Utopians who are already destroying the Military, the Justice System, and the Economy. The wolves outside of the USA are gathering internationally to feed on the anticipated corpse of our country.

Obama is not leading, he's not a "centrist" and he's the best protected creature on the face of the planet.
The people who created Obama and who are running the Obama Show today have gotten great mileage out of him, but they are impatient and, being Marxist-Leninists, they believe that the Revolution requires a midwife.
Consider how much ground the American communist movement gained from November 22, 1963. Within 48 hours of JFK being shot by a "silly little communist" they had 2/3 of the nation convinced it happened because of right wing hate.
A time may be coming, may in fact be here, when Obama is worth more to Jarrett, Ayers, Soros, and others unknown dead than alive, a martyr rather than a (middling poor) executive.
