The speaker is considering a vote on the Senate-brokered deal, even if conservatives object.
Speaker John Boehner is considering letting the House take the initial vote Wednesday on a Senate-prepared bill to lift the debt ceiling and restart funding for the shuttered federal government--apparently even if House conservatives object.
If they do object, it would mean Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and her House Democrats could become critical to its passage.

It will end his Speakership, and likely he’ll be primaried out of his job. But he’ll become the Darling of the Beltway Elite, and land on his feet in a cushy lobbyist job.
We put them their to stop bankrupting the nation and our families. They are voting to bankrupt us more.

The dishwasher in the house cafeteria would likely be an improvement over boner.
Now, we will pass a temporary budget and debt ceiling for promises of spending cuts...

Exactly! If we don't go to citizen representatives and many many more, perhaps based on counties/parishes in each state (in this case over 3,000), we don't survive.
So, just heard its Senate plan but will most likely strip a House bill/send with their language & then it will in effect be a bill originated in House.
RATS play dirty, we play footsies.
& I’m sure everyone will have chance to read it too...
If Boehner does this we are without a doubt no longer a Constitutional Republic.
I still have yet to see a bill number in either chamber.

Rep Louis Gohmert from Texas
the way to “negotiate” is from a position of strength. the GOP is a minority in the senate and there’s a democrat in the WH. we need to nominate articulate, credible conservatives and win elections, and not nominate clowns like mourdock, akin, o’donnell, angle, etc., who can’t win RED states, let alone purple ones...
Bring up the Senate Bill as the base text. Ideally one would do this under an open rule but given the time constraints, allow each major faction to make a couple of amendments with 30 minutes of debate. See what the House passes.
I think the Vitter amendment would pass. Not sure about anything else.
