Social liberalism leads to more poverty and more calls to statism and socialism. I think Star Parker puts it very well.

Corporations played a role in impoverishing the US. Teach China and India how to do our IT and manufacturing jobs, then send entire factories over there, and dumping the unemployed onto the taxpayers. Corporate America were big advocates for illegal immigration amnesty. Flood the US with workers who take jobs that automatically entitles them for food stamps and welfare. Who pockets the difference in payment of lower wages, corporate America, who is stuck with providing free medicine, food stamps etc etc for the imported poverty - TAXPAYERS!!!! Even with high unemployment corporate America wants all illegal given pathway to citizenship and more H-1B high tech workers. Great lay off Americans, refuse to hire US college grads but want more H-1B workers!!!!!!! There should be three trees to hang the traitors, one for the socialist Dems, one for the NAFTA/free trader GOP and one for corporate CEO’s.

“The gentleman in the White House, our president...”

I almost stopped reading right there...

Any writer would have to be insane to refer to cowardly PunkBama as a “gentleman.”

I think he puts it extremely well. The whole nub of the problem is that both sides ARE very convinced that their vision for the future is the correct one, and the result is a massive idealogical divide. The most Centrist Democrat in the senate is still to the left of any Republican. The biggest RINO going is still to the right of any Democrat.

This situation is not healthy. As Lincoln said, a nation divided against itself cannot stand.
