Jason Morgan, a University of Wisconsin-Madison student earning his doctorate there, has told his supervisor he objects to the schools mandated diversity training for teaching assistants (TAs) because leaders of the first session he attended essentially called him and the whole class racist.
Whats more, the next session on how to support transgender students is something Morgan said he cannot support, as it runs in direct contradiction to his religious beliefs.
The letter, sent by email Sept. 22, states all new TAs in the universitys history department are required to attend one orientation session, two training sessions, and two diversity sessions. Morgan, in his letter, called the first of the two diversity sessions, held Friday, an avalanche of insinuations, outright accusations, and suffocating political indoctrination (or, as some of the worksheets revealingly put it, re-education) entirely unbecoming a university of our stature.

Thankfully, the great majority of Americans are totally unaware of the leftist lunatics who run their institutions of higher learning. Unfortunately, many of the truly coo-coo ideas and programs promulgated by the lunatics are made policy by the various government bodies. I’ll bet your life that most of the people in the Obama admin believe heart and soul all the diversity and “you’re all racists” garbage spouted by the loons. To be sure, Obama has probably hired many of them. This is the future.

The sad part is that this crap has reached the point where someone is being subsidized by taxpayer money to spew this diversity garbage, to teach others to spew this garbage, to seek and hire people to spew this garbage, etc.

I supervised a team of 5 Indians when I worked at BofA.
There was a black gentleman that worked on a back row of cubes in our area. Had a woman looking for someone in our and I suspected that she was looking for this person. I asked her if he was a black gentleman and she concurred.
The two Indians standing with me acted as if I had just advocated nuking New Delhi.
I was told that you can’t call a black person, ‘black’. It has to be African-American. So yes, they are counseled on how not to offend black people. Needless to say, it did not sit well with myself.
You should have told the diversity people that you couldn't attend on the Sabbath. I'm guessing that their concern for diversity doesn't extend that far.
Thanks. I was a hardware/semiconductor process guy. However, I did contribute one or two articles to a glossy DEC technical publication, the name of which I can’t remember (Digital Review or something like that).
