I say let it get started.
The probable outcome, in that instance, would be a balkanization of that territory once known as “the United States of America”
This can end amicably or badly, it is the call of the liberals now. Looking at an electoral map of the overall territory, the parts divided into “blue” and “red” shows a marked difference - the “red” portion is nearly contiguous, and the “blue” areas are fragmented, and cover far less total area.
The “red” country thus formed, would then be free to accept the words and legal precedents that are embodied in the Declaration of Independence, the original Constitution, the Bill of rights, and the remainder of the amendments with the exception of the 16th, 17th, 18th and its paired repeal, the 21st.
The number of small “blue” republics thus formed, may go ahead and set up whatever cockamamie social experiment governments they want.
The second order of business would be to set up a strictly enforced border between the “red” country, and each of these scattered little “blue” republics. Those who are dissatisfied with the region in which they find themselves at odds with the governing authority, are free to migrate to the region more to their preference, once it has been established they are sincere in their desire to relocate, and they swear allegiance to the ideals and aspirations of the prospective region to which they wish to emigrate.
These new divisions may or may not follow existing state boundaries, but they would be divided on the basis of Congressional districts, and the will of the people within that particular district to choose either the “red” designation or the “blue” designation.
I’m tired of the pre-game show already. Let’s get to the coin toss.
