We have a few senators doing the heavy lifting for us, led by Senator Ted Cruz, to determine whether or not we lose more of our LIBERTY.
Probably lots of us have already called, e-mailed, tweeted and so forth, but we can do it again!
After calling if you'd be kind enough to report back what the various staffers had to say, it would be revealing!
If you click on the link it takes you to page with all Senate numbers.
Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Vote with Cruz against cloture, or vote for cloture and then be one of the failing R votes for the continuing resolution? HUGE, HUGE difference.
Why won’t he support ALL the baskets we’ve got going? First one is to deny cloture. If that fails, at least vote for the CR. If that fails, at least pressure the “reconcilers” to keep Obamacare defunded. If that fails at least vote against the reconciled version of the CR. If that fails..... etc

List for Portman and Brown - Ohio Senators
I figure every politician gets one "be an idiot" card. Rubio's already used his with not understanding that we object not to all immigrants, but those who got here illegally have to return to their homelands. In fact, Cruz and Rubio give the 'pubs what they claim to want. That would be a good chunk of the hispanic vote. The ptb are too dumb to see it isn't one vote.
I'm close to forgiving Rubio for being duped by McCain and Schummer, and not understanding our passion that people have to have gotten to the US legally. Rubio's burned all bridges to the Republican slime now; it's time to give him another (and final) chance. JMHO
I called Toomey in PA this morning. Tried last night but got a voicemail box that was full (good sign). This morning a female staffer answered. I just said a brief statement...I want him to support Ted Cruz, Obamacare will wreck our health care system, it needs to be fought every chance we get, we didn’t elect Republicans to support Obama’s agenda. She just said she’d pass my message along.
I’ll probably call Casey (D) later and bring up the points about the unions opposing Obamacare and companies I know of cutting workers’ hours below 30.
I hope they're liberal on one thing, an immigration policy for former fellow Americans...
I think it's possible to reform things before it gets to a chaotic point. And I'm not sure reaching chaos automatically guarantees a return to liberty either. It could be a descent into a permanent third-world like state. Is Greece going to be rebounding any time soon? Not to mention, if we reach chaos, every group will be fighting to take the reins of power. The communist forces could win in that struggle and turn us into Greater Cuba for decades to come. If we don't fight to get into power now, how will we do it then?
E-Mail from John Cornyn 09/23/13.
Matthew,
ObamaCare hasnt even fully taken effect, but already Americans are feeling its negative effects.
Employers in Texas and across the country have been forced to lay off workers or slash their hours to avoid facing financial penalties that could cripple their already-struggling businesses.
In short, as one of its chief authors said recently, ObamaCare is a train wreck.
Thats why Ive voted more than 40 times to repeal, delay, defund, and dismantle it. And thats why Ill vote in favor of the House bill to defund it again this week.
Tell me what you think: Will you support my vote to defund ObamaCare?
Matthew, I dont have to remind you that times are hard for many people in Texas and across the country. And ObamaCare will only make them harder.
In fact, individuals and families have already begun receiving letters from their insurance companies stating that health plans they like - plans President Obama said they could keep - will no longer be available.
As your Senator, its my job to vote to protect the interests of my constituents. I believe that voting to Defund ObamaCare is the right thing to do.
Do you agree? Vote HERE.
Thanks for your continued support. I look forward to continuing to fight together.
For Texas,
Senator John Cornyn
P.S. I need to know what you think.
Do you agree with my decision to vote to Defund ObamaCare?
Please take a moment and vote here to let me know if you support taking this stand against the presidents destructive legislation.
That’s my understanding. ....anything that works or might work Just because a name is on one project does not mean they will not vote for their neighbors
Called BLUNT’s office and ask the IGNORANT chick to tell Blunt that I did not want him to vote for cloture and to vote for defunding OZeroCare. She told me that Blunt was going to vote for cloture....I was pissed! She said “can I tell you why he is voting for cloture?” “So he can vote for another health care bill.” They really, really do think we are f’ing stupid.
I believe we gree on the same premise however the next phase of government after the chaos will not be liberals and conservatives battling...it will be the “ haves” and “have nots” that will be the phase where people get back to basics...
The have nots will look to the haves and will have to decide whether they are willing to play by the rules to acquire wealth and possessions...
The rules will not be including section 8 housing, free cell phones, food etc...
The haves won’t have loads of possessions either, they will return to a simpler life making far more practical choices with their money...
1940s will resurface in USA after the chaos...people will value a job...not a career mind you...a job.
We have too many people now with college degrees expecting an instant career right out of college and feel they are too good for a “job”...
The coming chaos will transform people’s thinking when it comes to living their lives in a comfortable fashion.
Murphy D-CT: reviewing leglisataion, no position yet. AKA, yes.
Blumenthal D-CT: supports, said my premiums are going down. Hahaha.
She doesn't need to "feel" anything. She needs to listen to her base, and vote with Cruz.
So, how did RAT Angus King respond?
Today I received an email reply:
“Dear Mrs. P,
Thank you for contacting me about our health care system and repealing the new health reform law. I understand your concerns.
I voted against repealing the Affordable Care Act because the bill holds insurance companies more accountable, reins in the soaring costs of health care, and provides Americans with more health care choices.
As this debate continues in Congress, I will continue to keep your thoughts in mind about ways to improve the implementation of health care reform. If a provision needs to be fixed, I will work to do just that.
Thank you again for contacting me. Please continue to keep me informed about issues of concern to you and your family.
Sincerely,
Debbie Stabenow
United States Senator

Obamacare is “TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION.”
Obamacare has nothing to do with care, health or medical treatment.
Obamacare has everything to do with a mandatory insurance that everyone must buy at the point of the Federal gun.
Obamacare Medical Insurance premiums are under the control of the IRS.
These insurance premiums can be raised every year by the IRS with no involvement by Congress.
Thus, all the present and future Democrat rulers have to do is tell the IRS how much taxpayer dollars need to be forcefully extracted from the taxpayers, and the IRS will extract the money for them.
Hence, Obamacare Insurance is taxation without representation that Traitor John Roberts of THE NINE SUPREMES has ruled it to be above the control of the US Congress, and it will stay until Obamacare is ABOLISHED!
John Roberts. This IS the man who brought tyranny to a reality. Extraordinary. And, suspicious.
We are thoroughly infiltrated. Sadly, it is us who let too much slide for too long.
