Yet a barrel of oil was over $108 last week.
Maybe Pennsylvania didn’t get the memo? Haven’t noticed. I’m sure it will be back up to $4 again when Obama finds out. I was talking to someone who just got back from Ireland. The gas there is the equivalent of $12/gallon! That is our future if we let these lunatics continue to occupy our government!
As the Obama economy continues to faulter, and people have no need to travel to work, or can afford to travel to shop, there will be less demand for gas and prices will fall even more.
The 2.99 gas in Texas is indicative of the economic downturn.
Yes - I had $3.21 in Denton, TX Sunday. I’m not very knowledgeable about the fuel industry, but seem to recall that refiners are required to make different fuels for winter months. If so, and I hate to be negative, would assume there will be another supply issue to drive prices back up.
I bought gas at 2920 and 290 in Tx for 2.96 a gallon this past Thurs.
EXPECT more of the SAME when the MSM tells us once again... "Prices at the Pump Rise UNEXPECTEDLY on news of _________"
Down from $3.59/gal to $3.35/gal in 6 days, for unleaded regular, in York PA.
Sure they’re falling. I’m not driving anywhere, just staying home trying to figure out how to pay for home heating oil from here to March!
$3.13 in Fairview, TN. $3.45 10 minutes further into Nashville.
Gas dropped below 3.30/gal around Port Richey, FL. Still a little higher in Hernando Cty.
An oversupply of gas for the moment because of a slow economy????
3.89 in Buffalo
In Oil Patch City NM, price is $3.79/gal. Drove from Lubbock (2 hours away) last night and filled up at $3.09. Each town further from Lubbock had pump prices a few cents higher. Seminole TX, just east of the border with NM was $3.75.
Went up 35 cents per gallon last Friday where I live.
They didn’t get the memo in Fishers. IN and the surrounding area. We came home from work last Wednesday evening and most stations were around $3.29 a gallon. On the way to work the next morning the same stations were $3.59 a gallon.

Surprise at the pumps: Gas for $2.89
Station offering special for cash-paying customers
Wow. We were thrilled to see a "low" price of $3.66 here in northern Connecticut this weekend.
Fortunately a local supermarket chain here (Stop & Shop) has Gas Points Rewards... we accumulate points by buying groceries, then drive a few miles to Massachusetts (slightly lower gas taxes than CT's), and usually fill up both cars for about $2.89/gallon. That's the price when gas here is about $3.89+.
Diesel went up.
Thackney,
I thought gas prices always typically fall after Labor Day and the summer driving season.
