"Most" of the hostages who have been holed up at an upscale shopping mall in Kenya's capital after it was attacked by members of an Al Qaeda-linked Somali militant group on Saturday have been freed, Kenya's military says.
Kenya's armed forces launched a "major" assault on the militants on Sunday night -- about 30 hours after the Islamists stormed the Nairobi mall in an attack that left at least 68 dead and 175 injured. At around midnight local time, Kenya's Defence Forces said it had rescued most hostages and had taken control of most of the mall, but declined to give numbers. Officials said four Kenyan military personnel were wounded in the operation.
"This will end tonight," Kenya's Disaster Operation Center earlier said.
The announcement of the military assault came after Associated Press reporters said they heard a large explosion followed by silence.

capture the muzzies, slice them open, fill them with pig blood and pig meat, and let dogs eat them.

At least someone is taking the threat seriously. I like the way this man thinks. Hopefully, they took a few alive and will squeeze some information out of them. Lives may be at stake, possibly even here in the USA,

I read somewhere today that is just a small scale version (a test run if you will) of a "bigger" event planned but whatever terrorist that made the comment would not say when or where (for obvious reasons I guess) the next "bigger" attack was going to take place.
He is too busy blaming the NRA for stuff here and will probably add Kenya to his commentary.

Of course he is silent. He claims to have been born in Hawaii, so, yes, he is silent on it.

.. the rest are probably dead.
I had heard something similar about another attack being possible. I have a real problem with people who object to torture in cases like this. I think the greater crime is to not get the information and let innocent people die. The guilty here have brought this on themselves and deserve whatever they get.

Well it was on a thread about Nairobi after all - your presumption was totally reasonable. In fact, I should have indicated in my post that the evil in question was perpetrated elsewhere in the butthole of the world... Syria.
But to me muslim evil is evil whether in Kenya or Syria so I lumped them together.
