At the Stargazers Theatre last night, I sat with those forces as a famous victory unfolded. Speaking after Senator Morse conceded, the recall’s founder, Tim Knight, told the crowd that “you must own your freedom in order to protect and pass it on to your children.” He has spent the last few months doing just that.

This should be a rally call for all of us. I don't know about you, but I've had it with the people in Washington who are supposed to "represent" me. They represent themselves and will do anything to keep their job and perks. Enough. There are enough PO'ed people out here to make a difference, and I hope it happens...soon.
This election is real “hope and change”, not the Obama variety.
Gonna be a LOOOOOOOOONG time before the Democrap Party makes another run at going after guns.

I love it when the democrat’s “new” tactic is used against them. Dems thought the recall was a great tool to try to remove a judge, gov and some legislators in Wis.

Although their tax hikes and House banking scandal and "midnight basketball" certainly contributed, a lot of old-time rats still blame their '94 loss of the House mainly on "gun control" legislation
Yep. Soon M1a’s and M1 carbines will be banned. There is a law going through that any long gun that can accept a mag holding more than 10 rounds is an “assault rifle”. Presto. Every M1 carbine and M1a is an assault rife and now must be registered.
Also working on requiring a license to buy ammo. Not a drivers license, but some kind of state issued ammo buyers license.
It just keeps coming.

That's only part of it. Starting in 2006 and repeated in 2008, rats recruited so called moderates that were supposed to be pro Second Amendment in both Houses of Congress. Thanks to Obama that tactic is now moot, and these members of Congress have little credibility on the Second Amendment, especially those in the Senate who are up next year and voted for the the Manchin - Toomey Amendment.
For Mayors Against Illegal Guns, if they lose even one of these seats, they might as well fold it up. And they understand that.
