Reminds me of a documentary I was watching about the air war in Vietnam. McNamara visits one of the carriers and is talking to the pilots. He doesn’t care what they’ve bombed or how they’re doing, just how much tonnage has been dropped. That’s it. Amount of weapons launched was his only criteria for success. The targets they risked their lives to bomb didn’t matter at all.
Obama is determined to bomb Syria. His team is working on how to package it. Meanwhile Dear Leader likes terrorizing the Syrian people under the threat of a bomb strike.
I believe this WH will coordinate all military strikes with the rebels for maximum effect.
We enjoyed our Med cruise nigh 2 years ago.. love to do it again. Don’t screw it up, Put’.

Honestly this is the most precarious position America has been in since the Cuban Missile Crisis. I can envision a scenario where Putin will flex his military might against the weak kneed poser Obama and if he orders a submarine to launch cruise missiles against Syria, that Putin could respond by sinking that submarine and then threatening a tactical nuclear strike if the US attempts to retaliate.
Putin knows that Obama is a clueless buffoon who would cower in the corner if backed in there by the Ruskies. And if Obama made a stupid decision after that, then all bets are off.
Perhaps these doomsday prospers aren’t so crazy after all.
